LIBRARY
School has a rich library arranged in a large room with a spacious reading room annexed to it. The library has a good number of reference books for all subjects in addition to thousands of other books for general reading. Short versions of books on various subjects are compiled in the library to enable students to complete reading one book in the period allotted for library. News papers and periodicals give a good touch on current affairs.

1. All students and members of the staff are expected to make the best use     of the     School Library.

2. Library books will be issued from the Ist of June. Books borrowed from the      library should be returned within the stipulated time.

3. Students are allowed to borrow only one book at a time and retain them     for a     period of one week. The Librarian may call for a book borrowed by     any member     even before the expiry of the normal period of one week, if     required.

4. Reference books may not be taken out of the Library.

5. If the borrowed book is not returned to the Library on the due date, a     fine of     Re.1 per day will be imposed.

6. Borrowers are required to examine the books at the time of borrowing     and      report to the Librarian of any damage, loss of pages and pictures     etc.

7. Borrowers are not permitted to pass on the book to others.

8. Books borrowed shall be kept neatly. Avoid marking, underlining, or any     kind of     defacing the books.

9. If a book is lost the borrower should either replace it or pay an amount     equal to     2 times the original price of the book. If books are damaged or     badly handled     their full cost with a fine will be levied from the borrower.     The discretion of the     Principal in this matter shall be final.
